Model drawings

The library's collection of model drawings consists of about 900 drawings done either by students or professors in the teaching at the The Royal Danish Academy of Art. In terms of time the collection covers the first 100 years of the Academy's foundation in 1754. Central figures in Danish art is represented in the collection, including Nicolai Abildgaard CW Eckersberg, Christen Købke, Constantin Hansen, E. H. Freund, Dankvart Dreyer and Wilhelm Marstrand.
