Photographic reproductions may be requested of any material (books, drawings, prints, photographs, glass plates, etc.) in the collections of the Danish National Art Library. Orders should be placed directly with the Danish National Art Library by completing the Photography order form below.

Upon special request, you may obtain permission to perform the photographic reproduction or scan of the Library’s materials yourself.

Under Danish copyright law, the Danish National Art Library owns and retains at all times the copyright on all reproductions produced. In the eventuality of third parties holding copyright to the material to be reproduced, it is a precondition that the customer has obtained written copyright permission from all such third parties. For Danish material such permits may be obtained by consulting Copydan.

Use of the reproductions in publications is permitted solely on the following conditions:

• the following form is completed and delivered to the Danish National Art Library:
  Permit to photograph or film material in the Danish National Art Library, and
• the publication specifically states that the material is owned by the Danish National Art Library, and
• upon publication, the Danish National Art Library receives a free copy.
